Drive the Net / Protect the Puck

1.  1 pivots backwards, exchanges pass with 2, steps up, exchanges more pass with 2, pivots to the wall and receives the last pass then drives to the net.

2.  3 waits in the middle of the ice then angles across on 1 to make physical contact with him. 1 must absorb contact while protecting the puck then drive to the net. 1 then becomes the next checker, 2 exchanges going on the other side and 1 becomes the checker.

Key Points:

At the moment of contact, 1 should release the puck into a quiet area just ahead of him, initiate contact with a checker to absorb the check, then pick the puck back up again.   from Hockey Coach Vision
